Pile of Wires
In more recent semesters I played a bigger role in running rehearsals as well as teaching the software. I am in the process of taking over the role of director as Dr. Herman is on the retirement track. My future goals for the ensemble involve expanding our performance opportunities and collaborations with other musicians and artists as well as expanding our use of technology.
Pile of Wires is a electronic music collective founded by Cameron Johnston, David Saldaña, and Sean Jones. Other members include Tobias Banks, and Marisa Ramey. Continuing the electronic music practice founded in Laptop Ensemble at CSULB, the members strive to create a collaborative performance environment. We have performed in a variety of venues around the Los Angeles Area and in New York City.
